This document presents data on the acceptance rate of papers to the ACM SIGGRAPH annual conference.
Suitable data was not available for the first three years' conferences (1974 - 1976) but is available for every year thereafter.

  2. Year with the fewest (95) number of submissions: 1983.
  3. Year with the greatest (478) number of submissions: 2004.
  4. Year with the fewest (30) number of acceptances: 1984.
  5. Year with the greatest (98) number of acceptances: 2005.
  6. Year with the highest (53.33%) acceptance rate: 1978.
  7. Year with the lowest (14.9%) acceptance rate: 1998.
