The Educational Resource Projects provide curriculum advice concerned with the
role of Computer Graphics in the different academic areas. Most of them hold
meetings at the annual SIGGRAPH conference. In addition there are many
non-conference activities including the following: providing sample course
syllabi and projects, reviews of computer graphics texts and software, and
sponsoring paper and panel sessions on computer graphics education at various
conferences.
Curriculum Knowledge Base Report
The ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee's Curriculum Working Group has
issued a report on the status of its CUrriculum Knowledge Base
Project. This report was presented to a highly-receptive audience at
the SIGGRAPH 2006 Educators Program in Boston.

Why Educators Should go to SIGGRAPH
This is an example reel put together by a visual effects supervisor who works
in the digital film industry in Los Angeles. He has reviewed thousands of reels
over the years and has put this reel together as an example of what students
should not do on their reels if they hope to get a job in this industry. These
examples are based on what is often seen in the reels of aspiring applicants. If
you see yours in here, you may want to take heed.

Slide Sets
The ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee has two types of slide sets. The
first are slides that are designed to help teach certain concepts. The
Education slide sets of 1991,1993, 1995, and 1997 focused on Computer
Science and the Education slide set of 1992 focused on 2D aspects of Art
and Design.
The second type of slide set are student produced images. These slides
are shown each year as part of the Student Poster and Animation
Competition and Exhibition (SPACE) exhibit shown at the Education Booth at
the annual SIGGRAPH Conference.
